Design research doesn’t stop at a share-out, and working on inter-disciplinary teams has inspired me the most. I've had the privilege to work with diverse teams, including other designers, engineers, clinicians, artists and more.
Wading in
deep ambiguity
& complexity
I’m drawn to any problem space with deep ambiguity and interconnected systems - lately that’s been within healthcare. It’s the best feeling when that fog starts to clear!
Designing for delight
When possible, meaningful design has the power not just to make something functional but to bring joy, wonder or perhaps so simple that it just seems obvious. I’ve learned to not just look for pain points but for delight.
